Honda NSX

Todays post is dedicated to one of my favorite cars, the Honda NSX. Seeing one in the opening scene of Fast Five has had me thinking about them lately. First released in 1990, it was meant to be a competitor to the Ferraris and Porsches of the time. Touted as the first supercar to be reliable and economical to drive everyday, it was still full of typical Honda technological wizardry. It used an aluminium monocoque chassis which was super light and super rigid, it was also one of the first cars to feature an electronic throttle. The engine, a 3.2L V6 was the first road engine to feature Honda's hot blooded VTEC system first seen on F1 cars. Unfortunately Honda stopped making the car in 2005, however rumours are saying that Honda is working on a successor to the NSX. But these are just rumours so we'll just have to wait and see

First Gen NSX, the design still looks as good as it did in 1990

Super clean

Second Gen NSX-R, the best NSX released

Even the japanese police uses these cars!

First Post - Sil80 love

Welcome to Auto101, saw a sick sil80 roll by last night. Makes me want to post some. For those that dont know, a sil80 is a Nissan 180sx (JDM 240sx) with a Nissan Silvia front end. This supposedly started after drifters would wreck their 180sx's front end only to find that Silvia front ends fit perfectly and were cheaper to get than the original 180sx front end. Anyways, here some for you guys to enjoy

Looking very clean and mean!

Can't go wrong with black on white

Too flashy for some people but I think the carbon hood goes really well with the purple paint

That's it for post 1, hope you guys enjoyed and see you next time
